Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 7, 2026

Welcome to Ludāgora. By using the platform you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. What Ludāgora is

Ludāgora is a platform that connects people who want to buy, sell, and auction board games in Colombia. We provide the space to list games and for buyers and sellers to get in touch with each other.

Ludāgora is only a meeting point. We are not a party to any sale, auction, or agreement made between users.

2. How we share contact information

You decide what gets shared. In your profile you choose which of your contact methods — your phone number, your Facebook, or both — the other party can see, and whether you also share your address. You must share at least one contact method. You can change those choices at any time: they apply immediately, including to deals already open.

When a listing sells, Ludāgora shows the seller and the winning bidder only what each of them chose to share, so you can coordinate delivery and payment directly. This happens only between the seller and the winner — other bidders' contact info is never shared, and nothing is shared while the listing is still open. To publish you must share your phone number.

Your address only reaches whoever ships the game: the seller on a sale, and whoever ships you a game in a Swap-a-ton. It never travels the other way, and only if you switched it on.

To take part in a Swap-a-ton you must share your number and your address: the trade is remote, and whoever ships you a game needs somewhere to send it.

Our emails carry no contact details: they notify you and link you into the app, where your preferences are applied at that moment. We never share more than described here.

3. We do not take part in transactions

This is the most important point of these terms:

  • Ludāgora does not participate in the negotiation, payment, delivery, or fulfillment of any agreement between users.
  • Ludāgora does not receive, hold, or process money for transactions between users.
  • Ludāgora does not take possession of, inspect, or guarantee the condition, authenticity, quality, or existence of the games listed.

The sale or auction agreement is entered into directly and exclusively between the buyer and the seller. Ludāgora is not part of that agreement.

4. Auction closing and anti-sniping

The closing date and time shown on an auction is not final: it can be extended automatically.

Ludāgora applies an anti-sniping rule, so that nobody wins an auction by bidding at the very last second. If someone bids when the close is already near, the close moves forward and the other bidders get a chance to respond. This can happen again with every new bid, so an auction with active bidding may close well after the published date.

The exact values of the rule — how long before the close it kicks in, and how far the close moves — are set by Ludāgora and are shown on the listing itself and in the listing form. The rule governing an auction is the one in force when it was published; if Ludāgora changes the values later, auctions already running keep their own.

By publishing an auction you accept this rule, including the possibility that the auction closes after the date initially published.

5. User responsibilities

As a user, you are solely responsible for:

  • The truthfulness and accuracy of what you post (photos, descriptions, prices, game condition).
  • Agreeing with the other party on the method of payment, the place and means of delivery, and any other terms.
  • Verifying the identity and reliability of the person you are dealing with before handing over money or goods.
  • Honoring your commitments: if you list a game, you must deliver it; if you win an auction or agree to buy, you must pay as agreed.

We recommend taking reasonable precautions: meet in safe, public places, inspect the game before paying, and keep a record of your agreements.

6. Disputes between users

If something goes wrong, Ludāgora will not intervene.

Any disagreement, breach, claim, dispute, or problem arising from a transaction — for example, a payment that never arrives, a game that does not match its listing, a delivery that never happens, or damage to the product — must be resolved directly between the parties involved.

Ludāgora does not act as a mediator, arbitrator, or judge, and assumes no obligation to resolve, compensate, refund, or manage these disputes. The parties must settle their differences on their own and, if necessary, turn to the competent authorities.

7. No warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." Ludāgora does not warrant that the service will be free of errors or interruptions, nor that listings or users are legitimate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ludāgora will not be liable for any damages or losses — direct or indirect — arising from the use of the platform or from any transaction, contact, or agreement between users.

9. Acceptable use

To use Ludāgora you must be of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts. You agree to use the platform in good faith, without posting false, unlawful, offensive, or infringing content, and to comply with applicable Colombian law.

We may suspend or remove accounts and listings that breach these terms (see Section 10 for serious offenses against other users).

10. Account suspension and blocking

Ludāgora may suspend, block, or permanently remove a user's account, unilaterally and without any prior judicial process, when it has reasonable grounds to believe the user has committed a serious offense against another user or against the platform. This includes, without limitation:

  • Not delivering a paid-for game, or not paying for a game you won or agreed to buy.
  • Lying in a listing about a game's condition, authenticity, or actual existence.
  • Harassing, threatening, insulting, or otherwise abusing another user.
  • Committing fraud or attempting to trick someone out of their money or their game.
  • Creating additional accounts to get around a suspension.
  • Any other conduct that, in Ludāgora's judgment, causes serious harm to another user or undermines trust in the platform.

This power is independent of any judicial or police process the parties may pursue on their own. Ludāgora is not required to mediate or investigate in depth before acting, and its decision is final. A suspension or block does not create any right to compensation or a refund (see Section 8).

The same rules apply to Swap-a-ton trades: not shipping the promised game, or lying about what you're offering, is treated as a serious offense. Each edition's participation rules live in the Swap-a-ton rules.

If you believe a suspension was unfair, write to us at contacto@ludagora.com to ask for a review.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, along with its last-updated date.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia.
